Driehaus Museum of Chicago presents a lovely afternoon in the Gilded Age mansion on Saturday, May 7th, at 1 p.m.  To celebrate the Mother’s Day, the Museum’s beautiful ballroom will be transformed into an elegant tea room, showcasing delicate china, aromatic floral and fine decor.  During tea time, Chicago milliners Loreta Corsetti and Laura Whitlock will present their lines of couture hats.   Guests, of course, are encouraged to admire and try on all exhibited, one-of-a-kind chapeaus. Tea will be followed by an open house during which guests are free to tour the historic home and enjoy its fine and decorative arts collection.  For inquiries or reservations, please call 312.482.8933, or e-mail info@driehausmuseum.org.
