Bes-Ben is one of the most collected names in vintage hats and these witty little gems are sought after by museums as well as private collectors. An auction of vintage couture and accessories will take place on Thursday September 16th, 2010 with live and online bidding at www.lesliehindman.com featuring more than 20 of the unique creations from Bes-Ben of Chicago. The online catalog has some lovely photos of the hats. An interesting hat also comes with a matching vest. Most of the estimates are in the $100-200 range but I expect higher final prices. Now is your chance to own one of these special pieces.
