Announcement of the 76th annual SAIC fashion show.

“The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) Department of Fashion Design is excited to announce that this year’s Fashion Show will take place in Griffin Court in the new Modern Wing at the Art Institute of Chicago. This extraordinary venue will provide a dramatic backdrop for student-designed garments as the models walk the runway. Please save the date for the SAIC Fashion Show 2010, and for the AIC Modern Shop Millinery Trunk Show, 12-8 p.m. on May 7, 2010.

The Raymond Hudd Millinery Awards are the most prestigious awards given to SAIC headwear students. Raymond Hudd is a renowned Chicago hat designer, and the awards were named to honor his body of work as well as his enthusiastic support of new milliners. With your help, the 2010 Raymond Hudd Awards will be granted to deserving students in the SAIC headwear design program, to help students start a business or gain further millinery education. ” http://www.saic.edu/degrees_resources/departments/fash/index.html#fash_show
